GRIND ESPORTS CUP

TOP EUROPEAN BASKETBALL CLUBS SET TO COMPETE IN THE GRIND ESPORTS CUP

GRIND Esports is set to launch the GRIND Esports Cup, the first virtual basketball tournament of its kind for top European basketball clubs to compete in the electronic space. The tournament will feature eleven of the most well-known European basketball clubs.


The single elimination tournament will run Sundays and Mondays throughout November, with the inaugural final championship match set for mid-December.


“We are very excited and thankful to the players and managers of the participating clubs. They have committed to our vision of a sustainable esports development plan in Europe,” said GRIND Esports Co-Founder Edgaras Abromavicius. “We believe that fans will be happy to see their beloved clubs facing other notable European teams in an esports tournament. We are at the forefront of sports digitalization, and look forward to the GRIND Esports Cup providing memorable entertainment for both basketball and esports fans.”


All tournament games will be streamed on the GRIND Esports Youtube & Facebook channels, as well as participating Club social channels. Further information about possible additional platforms and other news will be shared on GRIND social media pages.
